Fire crews investigating what sparked South Jordan garage fire

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah - Fire crews are investigating how a fire started in a South Jordan garage Thursday morning.

Firefighters were called to a home near 3300 W. and 94th S. at about 3:30 a.m.

Officials said cars were in the garage when the blaze sparked and one of them caught fire.

Three family members were home at the time and were not injured.

The fire was contained to the garage and did not damage the home.

Authorities estimate about $75,000 to $100,000 in damage at this time.
