(CNN) — The two officers shot in Ferguson early Thursday morning are both in serious condition, the St. Louis County police department tweeted. The St. Louis County officer who was struck in the shoulder is 41 years old and a 14-year veteran of the force. The Webster Groves officer who was hit in the face is 32 years old and a 7-year veteran of the force.
