The nation looked to the most famous weather forecasting groundhog to see whether spring was on the way Monday.
According to the legend, if Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow on Feb. 2, there will be six more weeks of winter weather.
If not, we would be in for an early spring.
During his 129th prognostication on Monday, Phil saw his shadow, predicting six more weeks of winter.
If you don’t like the cold weather, experts say you shouldn’t really worry.
According to Stormfax Almanac’s data,Phil’s prognostications have been correct just 39 percent of the time.
