SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah — A South Salt Lake man has been located after being missing for nearly a week.
Larry Caplinger, 68, returned to Valley Wood Mental Health, 3610 S. 100 West, Saturday in a taxi cab, according South Salt Lake police.

Police say he is in reasonable health but he was not able to articulate where he had been during his time away.
Caplinger went missing Jan. 12. A missing and endangered advisory was issued because of Caplinger’s mental health state and the weather conditions.
