NEW MEXICO -- A bus driver, about a half-dozen passengers, and a woman who was watching TV went through a terrifying experience recently when a van collided with the bus and sent it smashing into a home, but despite the devastation there were no serious injuries.
Reporter Aaron Hilf has the details in the report above, which features footage of the crash from multiple angles, including from a camera inside the bus.
The crash occurred after the van reportedly ran a red light, and the crash occurred Thursday morning. The van hit the bus, which then rolled into a home.
Antonia Lucero was the only one inside the home, and she had been sitting on the couch watching TV.
"All of a sudden, like the wall just came in and hit the couch cause I was against the wall that got hit, and it threw me off," she said. "I'd been thrown onto the floor, so I started crawling because I just thought something was gonna smack me in the head. I'll probably be sore."
