SALT LAKE CITY - Authorities are investigating after a man allegedly tried to kidnap a young actress at knife-point at a Salt Lake City theater over the weekend.

Police said 33-year-old Adam Robin Green is accused of going into the Off Broadway Theatre near 250 W. and 400 S. Sunday and going to an area restricted to only the cast and crew.
Officers said, once Green got in, he waited for a 12-year-old girl to walk down the hallway and then jumped out behind her.
When the girl turned, she told authorities she saw Green with a knife in his right hand and she ran the other way.
Police said Green then fled the theater. He was arrested a short time later at a Wendy's restaurant in downtown Salt Lake.
Authorities said an officer working another part-time job found Green and took him into custody.
Green is now facing felony charges for aggravated kidnapping, assault and burglary.
