MORGAN COUNTY, Utah – An overnight rollover accident in Morgan County killed one person and left another in critical condition.
The Utah Highway Patrol said the car was driving southbound at Trappers Loop, State Road 167, when it rolled.
Troopers said the accident threw the driver and one of the backseat passengers from the car.
Authorities said they were flown to an Ogden hospital but the passenger didn’t make it.
The 20-year-old driver is in critical condition with severe head injuries.
Three other people in the car suffered minor injuries.
According to patrolmen, speed played a role in the accident.
Officials said the two thrown from the car were not wearing seat belts.
Officials said all passengers in the car were between 18 and 20 years old.
Their identities have not been confirmed at this time.
