WEBER COUNTY, Utah — Two southbound lanes of I-15 were closed Sunday after reports a truck spilled hay, and a traffic camera at the scene appeared to show the hay on the roadway and cars being directed into a single lane as a result.

The Utah Department of Transportation tweeted just after 5 p.m. that the two right-side lanes of southbound I-15 were closed near milepost 347 due to an incident alert. The tweet stated the road was expected to fully reopen by abut 5:55 p.m., but by about 5:40 cameras at the scene showed the scene had been cleared.

FOX 13 News heard reports that a truck had spilled hay in that area, and a Utah Department of Transportation camera at the scene showed what appeared to be hay on the road, at least one portion of which appeared to be smoldering.

FOX 13 News will have more information as it becomes available.
