Jason Chaffetz wins race for Utah’s 3rd Congressional District

UTAH — Republican Jason Chaffetz won the race for Utah’s 3rd Congressional District with more than 70 percent of the vote, according to electionresults.utah.gov.

With 578/578 precincts reporting, the results for Utah’s 3rd Congressional District are as follows:

Jason Chaffetz of the Republican Party: 72.35  percent of the vote with 94,571.

Brian Wonnacott of the Democratic Party: 22.63 percent of the vote with 29,575 votes.

Zach Strong of the Utah Independent American Party:
02.24 percent of the vote with 2,930 votes.

Stephen P. Tryon, unaffiliated: 01.77 percent of the vote with 2,314 votes.

Ben J. Mates, unaffiliated: 01.02 percent of the vote with 1,327 votes.
