SALT LAKE CITY – Your favorite characters from Sesame Street will be joining the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for the holiday concert this year.

Elmo himself made the announcement Thursday.

Broadway star Santino Fontana will also join the group for the Christmas concerts Dec. 12 to Dec. 14 at the Conference Center in Salt Lake City.

Exactly which of Elmo’s friends will be joining will be revealed each week on the Mormon Tabernacle Choir’s website.

Fontana is known for his recent role as Prince Hans in Disney’s hit movie Frozen and his Broadway performance as Prince Topher in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, which earned him a Tony Award nomination.

Tickets for the Christmas concerts are free and seating is available for those five and older.
