SALT LAKE CITY - Police said a missing woman's boyfriend held her captive for two days before dropping her off and he is still at large.

Officials said 24-year-old Blanca Soldier is in good condition after she was found Thursday morning near 1000 N. 940 W.

Authorities asked for the public's help finding her Wednesday night when they said she could have been kidnapped by her boyfriend, Erwing Rico.

Police said they were called to a home near 1000 N. 940 W. Tuesday night for "suspicious circumstances."

Witnesses told officers a man assaulted a woman in the street and then forced her into a car and sped off.

Officers said they believe Rico and Soldier were the people reported in the altercation.

Police are searching for Rico and said he could be facing multiple charges and may have previous offenses.

The total lack of judgement exhibited by some women when it comes to their selection in boyfriends never ceases to astound me.

I find it Interesting that the comment would amaze you Cruz. What amazes me is the puke in this story, Erwing Rico, and this woman’s choice to pick from the bottom of the barrel. Where in the world did she find this loser?

I don’t think poor choices are limited to females – males are not immune to making bad decisions. Too little thought goes into relationships, as though it’s “now or never” or “let’s see how this works out” – without serious thought about consequences.
