(CNN) — Three Afghan National Army soldiers, who were in Massachusetts for training, have gone missing, authorities said.

The three were taking part in the U.S. Central Command’s Regional Cooperation exercise at Joint Base Cape Cod. They were reported missing by base security late Saturday, the National Guard said.

“Base and exercise officials are working with local police and state authorities to locate the three Afghans,” the guard said in a statement. “There is no indication they pose any threat to the public.”
