PHILADELPHIA – A Pennsylvania couple is reminding others to live life to the fullest each day, as they have after getting a devastating diagnosis.

Doctors told Jenna Haley her son had anencephaly, a terminal brain defect, when she was just 13 weeks pregnant.

Her son’s life expectancy will range from hours to days.

So Jenna and her husband, Don, created a bucket list for their unborn son, Shane, while he is still growing inside Jenna.

The adventures include some of the couple’s favorite childhood events and places.

The family has posted pictures of their journey on a Facebook page they created, “Prayers for Shane.”

It has more than 250,000 followers.

“We are asking for your prayers and support and that God grants us as much time as possible with our beautiful son,” the family wrote on the Facebook page. “Shane has already proven to us that each day must be lived to the fullest and that is exactly what our little family is doing.”

Shane is due on Oct. 12.
