FORT LEE, Va. – Officials are reported the all clear has been given after an active shooter was reported at Fort Lee in Virginia Monday morning.
According to WTVR, authorities gave the “all clear” over the audible alert system at about 8 a.m. MT.
An “active shooter incident” was reported Monday morning at Fort Lee, an Army installation in Virginia, the post said on its website.
The installation is locked down, the post said, adding that the incident was reported at Building 5020 of the Combined Arms Support Command headquarters.
Fort Lee is near Petersburg, Virginia, about 30 miles south of Richmond and 135 miles south of Washington.
