The FOX 13 News team continues to take up the Ice Bucket Challenge in an effort to raise money for the research and advocacy of ALS, also known as Lou Gherig's Disease.

The unique challenge was started by Utah college sports teams. BYU football’s head coach, Bronco Mendenhall, called out members of Utah media when he completed the chilly endeavor.

Sports reporter Bailey McMurdie accepted and carried out the challenge live outside LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo on Friday.

Reporter Max Roth and FOX 13's meteorologist Brett Benson stepped up to the icy dare Saturday morning at the Be Well Utah Family Health Fair.

Max and Brett challenged weekend edition Good Day Utah anchor Kelly Chapman and weatherman John Goulet.

Kelly and John plan to carry out that challenge on Sunday during GDU.

Those who take the challenge are encouraged to share their action on social media using the hash tag #IceBucketChallenge.
