KTVT reported store employees found the teen after discovering “secret hidden compounds” he had build throughout the store.

Officials said the boy constructed two campsites in the store; one in the baby aisle behind strollers and the other was shielded by stacks of paper towels and toilet paper.

Walmart said customers didn’t notice the hideouts either.

According to KTVT, the boy stored necessities, had a makeshift bed and survived on food from inside the store.

The boy even made a hole in the wall of the drink aisle so he could get to the goods without being seen.

The report states the 14-year-old boy wore diapers instead of going to the bathroom because he was afraid of being caught.

A trash trail is what eventually led officials to the hideouts.

Walmart employees called police and officers released the teen to family.

Corsicana Police said the teen ran away from his aunt’s house where he was staying while his parents were out of town.

The boy’s mother told police he had a history of running away and has hidden in abandoned houses, businesses and creeks in the past.

So far, the 14-year-old is not facing charges.
