SANPETE COUNTY, Utah — A Mayfield man is dead after an agricultural accident Sunday morning, officials reported Monday.
The victim has been identified as Kent Sorensen.
The Sanpete County Sheriff’s posted the following statement on their Facebook page:
A tragic agricultural accident claimed the life of a Mayfield man early Sunday morning while he was bailing hay at his farm. It appeared Kent Sorensen was working on the piece equipment when his tractor rolled over him. The Sorensen family is deeply rooted in the community and their loss will be deeply felt.
