The music video for John Legend’s “You & I (Nobody In The World)” is part of a fundraising effort put together by Legend, RYOT and the Burkle Global Initiative that aims to raise funds for charities focused on women and girls, and the video has been viewed more than 5 million times since it was posted on YouTube July 10.
The video features a montage of women and girls from all walks of life looking into the camera as if it were a mirror, and the diversity in their expressions is a sometimes-melancholy but beautiful accompaniment to the music.

Among the women featured in the video is Actress Laverne Cox, who recently made history by becoming the first openly transgender woman to be nominated for an Emmy award. The nomination is for her work on the series “Orange Is The New Black.”
