Why doesn’t Ms. Utah have garments on? I mean if you oh really want to represent Utah, the cult uniform is the way to go!

If you listen to her interviews you will learn that her platform is on Media Literacy. Educating children and youth and empowering them with the skills they need to navigate the digitally manipulated pictures that they are exposed to on a daily basis. Trying to measure up to unobtainable looks can lead to poor body image which in turn can lead to eating disorders, depression, anxiety and in severe cases suicide. By educating children on Media Smarts you can help them identify and recognize the unrealistic and false images that they are seeing. I think it is an amazing and much needed message and say HURRAY for someone stepping up and bringing attention to this growing problem! As someone who has sat through one of Karlie’s presentations, I say let’s protect and empower our children!!!
