WEST VALLEY CITY -- New technology to help law enforcement officers catch people driving under the influence was on display Wednesday at a statewide DUI conference in West Valley City.
The West Valley City Police Department invited officers and prosecutors from throughout the state to see some of the latest innovations in DUI enforcement technology.
Attendees had a chance to see the latest in portable breath testing devices and intoxilyzers, in-car camera systems, high visibility uniform items and ignition interlock devices.
A Patrol Witness camera system was one of the items on display.
The West Valley City Police Department plans to host a similar conference next year.
