Dairy Queen robbed at gunpoint, police seek suspect

SYRACUSE, Utah – Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a fast food restaurant while brandishing a gun Tuesday night.

Police officials stated the suspect entered a Dairy Queen, 901 W. 1700 South, in Syracuse around 10:30 p.m., pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money before fleeing on foot.

According to a press release from the Syracuse Police Department, the suspect is described as an adult Hispanic male who is about 5-feet 6-inches tall. He was last seen wearing a beanie-style hat that was black, yellow and red, dark sweatpants, a black athletic style jacket and sunglasses. His face was obscured by a black bandana.
