PROVO, Utah — Fire crews are investigating after a home caught fire Thursday morning.
Officials said the fire started around 2 a.m. in a home at 110 East 700 North.
When crews arrived they said they found am add-on porch enclosure on fire, and the flames had spread to the attic. Crews evacuated neighboring homes due to smoke, but no other structures were damaged.
Firefighters said the home is fairly old and didn’t have any occupants. The house did not have any gas or electricity hooked up, so crews are still investigating an ignition source.
Damage is estimated at about $30,000.
