SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah — Charges have been screened against a man who allegedly fired shots at police officers after he attempted to carry out fraud at a bank.
The Salt Lake County Attorney screened the charges, and Michael Joseph faces charges that include attempted aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm and forgery.
At the time of the alleged crime, police said the suspect fired at officers using a “high-capacity machine pistol.” Click here for more details about the shooting.
