The Utah Avalanche Center issued high to extreme avalanche danger for northern and central Utah. Sidecountry areas are also dangerous.
Kelly Chapman and John Goulet spoke with Craig Gordon with the avalanche center about the conditions. He said this is uncommon for Utah's mountains to have such heavy, wet snow.
