Utah lawmakers discuss animal euthanasia bill

SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah lawmakers discussed animal euthanasia Tuesday-- specifically focusing on carbon monoxide being used to put animals down.

Rep. Angela Romero said she believes she has the right balance in a bill that would have animal shelters follow a uniform policy. That policy would involve putting animals down in a humane way that's as painless as possible.

FOX 13's Tamara Vaifanua took a closer look at House Bill 57 Tuesday. Watch her full report in the clip above.
