WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — Approximately 2,399 Rocky Mountain Power customers were without power after a transformer blew in West Valley City Thursday morning.
Officers said the outage was caused when a transformer blew up around 6:30 a.m. in the area of 3650 South and 3600 West, which resulted in a pole fire.
About 2,400 people in West Valley City were without power, but as of 10:15 a.m. power has been fully restored.
