VALLEY COUNTY, Idaho – More than a month after a single-engine plane went missing in Idaho, the wreckage has been found.

The Valley County Sheriff’s Office reported Friday night that the plane had been found and there were no survivors.

The plane had been carrying a family of five who were flying from Oregon to Montana. The pilot reported having engine trouble and asked Salt Lake City air traffic controllers for coordinates to the Johnson Creek Airstrip.

Valley County Sheriff’s Office officials told FOX 13 News over the phone that the weather is too stormy as of now, so efforts to recover the bodies will not begin for a few more days.
