SALT LAKE CITY -- Salt Lake City's EVE celebration continues Tuesday night with a number of activities to help you ring in the new year. Watch the videos above for a preview with Dave Nemeth and read the following press release for details:

EVE’s fifth year continues with the final of the three-day celebration in downtown Salt Lake City. Today’s featured events include nationally touring act Smallpools and two fireworks shows; a children’s display at 7 PM at The Gateway as well as the Main show at Midnight at the Salt Palace.

In it’s fifth year, EVE organizers have committed to bringing back fan favorites from the past four EVE celebrations, most of which are designed to offer warm, indoor experiences. BounceTown, a “town” of inflatable houses children and kids at heart can play in, as well as the BallRoom, featuring a lasers, lights, upbeat music and 2014 beach balls.

X96’s StageAblaze features national performers, Smallpools. The Los Angeles based rock band, rising stars in the national indie scene, round out the evenings lineup of DJ sets and local bands, beginning at 6 PM.

The Utah Performing Arts Center stage lineup, also located indoors at the Salt Palace, showcases the best of Utah’s performance artists, including a Native American Winter EVE Pow-Wow, Afro-Brazilian troupe Samba Fogo, and Children’s Theatre.

More than 40,000 attendees are expected to take advantage of a $15 three-day pass to access 9 downtown venues. Three-day passes for children between 3 and 9 years old are $5. EVE goers can experience a wide range of art exhibits, film screenings, comedy shows, live music, cultural performances and family programming throughout downtown.
