WEST JORDAN, Utah — West Jordan police are looking for a driver who allegedly caused a crash that resulted in hospitalizations Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened around noon. Sgt. Dan Roberts from the West Jordan Police Department said the driver of a Ford Explorer was speeding and ran a stop sign at 2200 W 7600 S.
The Explorer was struck by a minivan, sending both vehicles into a canal. The driver of the Explorer then fled the scene on foot, Roberts said.
Police said as of 5 p.m. they knew who the driver of the vehicle was, but they said they had not located the driver yet.
All of the other people involved in the crash were hospitalized. Police did not release information on their conditions.
