WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — Charges were filed Tuesday against a woman accused of stabbing and killing her boyfriend on Sept. 2.
Officers said Thu Huong Thi Nguyen was charged with murder, obstruction of justice and commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child.
Detectives said the incident happened at a Labor Day gathering at the Parkway Apartments at 1800 West Parkway Blvd. and 2400 South in West Valley City. They said Nguyen allegedly stabbed her boyfriend, Thai Van Le, with a kitchen knife while he was holding their 4-month-old child.
A trial date has not been set.
