WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – A man is accused of posing as a police officer and then raping a woman at her home.

Police said 28-year-old C.J. Christiansen has been charged in the case but not yet arrested, as when police went to his home they were told he is in Denver.

The victim told police she met Christiansen on a telephone dating service. She said when they arranged to meet he handcuffed her and told her he was going to arrest her for prostitution.

The victim said she asked to see a badge, but instead the man forced himself on her. Christiansen faces multiple first-degree felonies as well as misdemeanor charges in the case.
