SALT LAKE CITY – Police are asking for help locating a man accused of raping a child.

On May 29, police say Bolo Chervon Lapiste was shot twice in the back, allegedly by Anthony Vick. Vick was arrested earlier this month in connection with the shooting.

Now Lapiste is facing three charges of raping a child and police are asking for help locating him.

“Just anything that you may have, even if you saw him at a store, if you saw him yesterday, if you can give us a location of where we can look, anything will help and our detectives can look into that,” said Salt Lake City Police Det. Veronica Montoya.

Lapiste was allegedly lured into a Salt Lake City apartment and beaten with a club. He was later found shot lying in the middle of the street.
