SALT LAKE CITY — Police arrested a man Sunday who was wanted on a $1 million warrant for attempted murder.
Anthony Vick is accused in the attempted murder of 40-year-old Chevron Laptiste. Salt Lake City police found Laptiste in the street with gunshot wounds to his back on May 29.
31-year-old Britney Flint-Jones was arrested earlier in connection with incident on multiple charges, including aggravated assault and kidnapping. According to her jail booking statement, Flint-Jones admitted to luring the victim to her apartment and beating him.
Vick was arrested Sunday when a Summit County Sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle Vick was riding in for a tail light violation. Vick has been turned over to Salt Lake City Police Department detectives, who will be investigating further.
