UINTA COUNTY, Wyo. – A natural gas storage site in southwestern Wyoming exploded on Saturday.

On Saturday afternoon, crews responded to reports of an explosion at the facility, which is about 15 miles north of Evanston.

Eric Quinney, chief administrative officer for Uinta Fire and Ambulance, said that it appears that a pressure valve malfunctioned and exploded, causing the fire.

The four people working in the factory at the time were uninjured and the fire has been put out.
