COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah -- A 75-year-old woman was critically injured Tuesday when she was hit by a car in Cottonwood Heights, and she died on Wednesday afternoon.
Cottonwood Heights Police identified the victim as Sheralyn Quinney and confirmed she had died on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash occurred at about 12:25 p.m. on Tuesday near 3600 E 8200 S. Police said a 35-year-old man was backing out of his driveway in a Chevy Avalanche when he struck the woman, who initially sustained a head injury
