MIDVALE, Utah — Three fires were reported in a Midvale neighborhood Thursday morning, and investigators were working to determine whether arson may have been involved.
The first fire reported was a car fire near 80 E 7660 S. While crews were working to extinguish that fire, dispatchers received word of a fence on fire down the street.
Another crew was dispatched to put out the fence fire. As they were working on that, the crew working on the car fire was informed of a third fire – also a fence.
Investigators were called in due to the proximity of the fires and a criminal investigation may result.
