WASHINGTON D.C. -- Saratoga Springs Mayor Mia Love remains in the national spotlight despite an election loss in 2012; the former candidate for Congress spoke at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Saturday.
Love ran against Rep. Jim Matheson, D-Utah, to represent Utah’s 4th Congressional District. She told the crowd of conservatives at CPAC that confidence is their key to success.
“How resilient will we be in the face of overwhelming opposition?” She said. “ You see, opposition will hurt us obviously, but if we keep things in perspective, if we have confidence in our abilities and our principles, that'll allow us to get up and climb again."
The Salt Lake Tribune is reporting that Love has not ruled out another run against Jim Matheson.
