LINDON, Utah – Utah Highway Patrol crosses erected on public land to honor fallen troopers were recently taken down, but now they’re going back up on private land.

The crosses were removed after the U.S. Supreme Court announced it wouldn’t hear the contentious first amendment case over the markers.

UHP announced on its Facebook page that a business owner has put of 15 memorial cross markers on private land along the northbound side of I-15 in Lindon.
