TOOELE COUNTY, Utah – A man is dead after a crash along I-80 in Tooele County.
The crash happened along westbound I-80 near the Grassy Mountain rest area (milepost 53) at around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday. Utah Highway Patrol officials say two vehicles were involved in the crash.
Two medical helicopters were sent to the scene for one male adult and one child. The child, a 3-year-old, has non-life threatening injuries.
Christopher Fainsbury, 26, of California, died as a result of his injuries, according to Utah Highway Patrol.
