Bomb squad detonate suspicious package in SLC

SALT LAKE CITY – Police have detonated a suspicious package in Salt Lake City on Friday evening.

Police say the package was a large computer bag left outside the front door of a dentist office at 32 North State Street at around 6:30 Friday night. There wasn’t a note left with the bag.

They detonated the bag and found nothing dangerous, but detonated it again to make sure.

Police are still looking for the person who left the bag.
