BRIGHAM CITY, Utah - Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints across the state gathered in Brigham City to view the dedication of the LDS Brigham City Temple.
President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles Boyd K. Packer read the dedicatory prayer during three separate sessions on Sunday.
During the cornerstone ceremony, Packer and his wife, alongside other leaders of the LDS church placed mortar in the temple. Leaders say it's a custom to signal a temple is complete.
This is the 14th LDS Temple in Utah and the 139th worldwide.
