SANTA CLARA, Utah -- People working to clean up their homes from flooding in Santa Clara this week got even more help Saturday.
Volunteers gathered to help homeowners and businesses dig out after a dike broke, flooding areas with muddy water.
One homeowner digging out his property said the water moved quickly into his home.
"We got here and the water was just barely approaching our home," said Shandon Gubler, a homeowner in Santa Clara. "By the time I got out of the car and into the house, water had started entering the back of our home."
The volunteers helped power wash and clean up the property to prevent mold.
