The Eastern Arizona Incident Management Team posted video of flash flooding in Huntington Canyon in Emery County.
Rosann Fillmore with the Manti-La Sal National Forest says the mudslide is a direct result of the Seeley fire, which has scorched nearly 50,000 acres since starting on June 23.
The mudslide is coming down in an area where there was previously vegetation but the fire’s burn scar has cleared that vegetation.
