- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/4 onion, diced
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped, divided
- 2 cans (4 ounces) diced green chilies
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 slices Gossner Provolone Cheese
- 1 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 dill pickle spear, diced
- 4 hamburger buns, split and toasted
- 4 tomato slices
- 1/4 cup baby spinach
- 4 slices red onion
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
Combine the turkey, onion, cilantro, chilies, garlic and onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper; mix well. Preheat an outdoor grill or a frying pan to medium-high heat, and oil pan or grate. Form into 4 patties. Cook the hamburgers until the turkey is no longer pink in the center, about 4 minutes per side. Place the provolone slices on the patties 2 minutes before they are ready.
Combine the mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup and pickle in a small bowl. For each patty, place some of the sauce on each bun (toasted is recommended) and a patty. Top with a tomato, spinach and onion. Serve immediately.
