The last weekend of August will be very warm, but a pair of cold fronts will bring some big changes by early next week. Winds will increase ahead of the first front on Sunday and lead to high fire danger. A stronger front will move in on Monday. As a result, temperatures will drop well below average. Mid 90s are likely in the St. George area by Tuesday with temperatures along the Wasatch Front briefly dropping into the mid 70s by then!
