SALT LAKE CITY — After waking up to cold temperatures, Salt Lake City should expect things to warm up Friday as we head into the weekend.
The afternoon temperatures will move back to what's considered average for this time of the year, with conditions being sunny and mild for the day.
Conditions will stay dry this weekend with temperatures rising even higher. It will remain warm throughout much of next week with no storms expected.
A high fire danger exists in southwest Utah through mid-morning before winds will decrease.
