One more January storm!

A storm will impact most of Utah this afternoon and tonight. Initially, snow will begin above 5000 feet, with a mix of rain and snow in the valleys. That will change over entirely to snow tonight with minor accumulations in the valleys. More significant accumulations are expected over the mountains with winter driving conditions expected. Most snow tapers off early tomorrow. High pressure will bring dry weather this weekend.

SALT LAKE CITY

Friday: Cloudy with a 40% chance of rain and snow by afternoon. South winds 10-20 mph. Highs: Mid 40s.

Friday Night: Rain & snow in the evening will change over to snow after midnight. 1 inch in the valley, 2-4 inches on the benches. Lows: Mid 30s.

Saturday: Becoming partly cloudy after a few morning snow showers. Highs: Near 40.

Sunday: Sunny. Highs: Low 40s.

ST. GEORGE

Friday: Rain likely. Highs: Mid 40s.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy. Rain in the evening, then showers decrease overnight. Lows: Near 30.

Saturday: Becoming sunny. Highs: Upper 40s.

Sunday: Becoming sunny. Highs: Near 50.
