Winds will increase this afternoon as an area of low pressure approaches from the northwest. This will lead to high fire danger across southern and southwest Utah. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected across mainly northern Utah this afternoon, with gusty outflow winds possible. Winds will increase tomorrow, and may cause areas of blowing dust and choppy conditions on area waterways. Showery and cooler weather is till expected by the end of the week.
