Series of storms to bring several feet of snow to Utah's mountains

SALT LAKE CITY — Our next storm is due to arrive Tuesday bringing statewide precipitation.

Snow accumulations are expected over the mountains with most of the valleys seeing rain.

Heavy precipitation is expected. A mixture of rain and snow is expected for Wednesday. Another storm will hit Friday through the weekend.

The snow will pile up in mountains with 3-4 feet expected over the next 6 days. Travel will be impacted from Tuesday through the New Year. We'll keep you updated throughout the week.

Salt Lake City:
Monday: Mostly cloudy. Highs: Mid 40s.Monday Night: Partly cloudy. Lows: Mid 30s.Tuesday: Rain. Highs: Upper 40s.

St. George:
Monday: Partly cloudy. Highs: Near 60.
Monday Night: Partly cloudy Lows: Near 40.
