High pressure will remain over Utah through the middle of the week. As a result, a strong inversion will continue with very poor air quality along the Wasatch Front. A weather system will move in Thursday and help to weaken or even break up the inversion. There should be a big improvement in air quality by the end of the week. There's a chance of light mountain snow on Friday, but with little if anything expected in the valleys.
